Formation of CPC and its Role in Government

China is known to most as just a communist country under a communistic rule of the central government, or CPC. It is really a multi-layer political consultation system with all participating parties being under the leadership of the CPC. They work together in a type of cooperation that lets them all work together for the benefit of their country. This is very different, if not the opposite, of the multiple party competition system of the Western countries, in which the parties for the most part appose each other. The point of this system is to act as a check and balance system to make sure that no one party controls too much. The voice of the people is supposed to be heard through their votes on who is in power in these parties. In China the people vote on who are most offices that are under the control of the CPC. The Communist Party of China, which was created the period of China’s revolution, reform, and reconstruction, was developed to guarantee the stateliness of this constitution and see that it is implemented correctly. It is even said inside the constitution itself that the political system under the CPC shall “continue to exist and develop for a long time”. It is in actuality a socialistic system that has the characteristics that is suited to the conditions of China’s socialistic/ democratic politics. There was an early attempt by China to simulate the political systems of the Western countries when Sun Yat-sen founded the Republic of China around 1911. However this attempt to make a Western type political system proved to be short lived as it was met with opposition from domestic and foreign forces alike. It was decided, or believed the China couldn’t emulate the Western forms of government because China’s societal characteristics are just too different from those of the West.
