Introduction
The process of managing people has existed in the organization since the beginning of time for a common purpose and it is one of importance thing for organizational success as people design, operate, control financial and contribute to organizational goal. As David Hearn, CEO of Goodman Fielder Australia (1997) explains:
To manage a company successfully is a head and heart business…but if you only focus on the head and not the heart, then people won’t come with you.
Some organization called those processes of managing people as personnel management and some called human resource management depending to their objective and activities. Nankervis et al (1999) explains that ‘Early employee specialists were called personnel managers (or personnel administrators), and this term is still in used’. The word of personnel administrator or personnel management refers to activities or a process of managing people which is related to employees in the organization with little relationship between various activities and organizational activities. The concept of personnel management had changed it concept as Stone R. (2006) says ‘The process of on managing people within the employer-employee relationship. Specially, it involves the productive use of people in achieving the organization’s strategies business objective and the satisfaction of individual employee needs, it called Human Resources Management (HRM)’.
