Cars

Ever since I was little I have always liked cars. I know a lot about them and I always love learning new things. I like to work on cars, especially mine. I was interested to learn about environmental friendly cars because I might need to know how to work on them in the future and discover which type would benefit me the most. Also, due to the gas shortage a few months ago, there was not enough gasoline to supply everyone and the prices went up to almost five dollars a gallon. If everyone including myself had vehicles that ran off of something other than gas, we would not have to worry about running out of the resources. Today, everything is being changed in order to help the environment become cleaner. If I owned a vehicle that was environmental friendly, I would be helping the environment by stopping some pollution that comes from car exhaust as well as saving money in the end.

There is not too much to know about environmental friendly cars, they are almost the same as normal gas powered cars except they run off different resources that are better for the air. The resources used to power environmental friendly cars are; solar power, bio-fuels, and batteries. Also, most of the vehicles must be small and light weighted. The solar powered cars are powered by sunlight. Biofuels are a replacement of regular diesel. Battery powered cars must be charged for a certain amount of time. My essential question for this topic is; “What makes an efficient environmental friendly vehicle and How can I benefit from the environmental friendly cars in the future?” I wanted to know what type of cars are run off renewable resources and I wanted to know how fast they can go. Also I want to find out if they are actually better or not.
