Why Wal-Mart is the Best Place to Shop
Wal-Mart is the best place to shop because they carry many merchandise and products that you can use. They have products that come from Proctor and Gamble one of the other companies that I will be talking about. Wal-Mart has a range of different products and merchandise that is suitable for all ages. Wal-mart is a store that is open to all the public, (http://www.walmart.com). They have 1,700,000 employees and have many different stores located at many different places all over the United States and all over different countries-like China. They have had 13.3% growth rate in the past year. Wal-Mart is the worlds’ #1 retailer, with about 6,400 stores, including some 1,200 discount stores, 2,000 combination discount and grocery stores and 565 warehouse stores. Nearly two-thirds of its stores are in the U.S. but Wal-Mart is expanding internationally; it is the # 1 retailer in Canada and Mexico. It owns a majority stake in Japanese retailer SEIYU. Wal-Mart also has operations in Asia, Europe, and South America. Founder of Sam Walton’s heirs own about 40% of Wal-Mart, (http://www.answers.com/wal-mart).
