Companies face many issues when dealing with organizational behavior, organizational culture, knowledge management, and effective teamwork. Research, information, guidelines, and tools are available for a company to successful maneuver through the worst of times. A company establishes its own behavior and culture as employees learn to adapt. As knowledge is shared the team finds it easier to function amid any issues that might be presented. For the team to be successful issues such as these must be observed, studied, and shared for continued and effective growth.

Organizational Behavior
Organizational behavior is the study of what people think, feel, and do in and around organizations (McShane and Glinow, 2005). Not organized into a unified discipline until after World War II, organizational behavior has been around in some fashion for years. Employees casually interact with each other forming bonds in work groups through inspiring leadership and communication skills that positively work toward success. Knowledge of organizational behavior leads to understanding the influence of organizational events by applying concepts in motivation, communication, conflict management, team dynamics, and other behavioral functions that are exhibited in organizations.
Knowledge of organizational behavior is not only important for the organization's financial health and welfare, but studies proclaim that companies applying performance-based rewards, employee communication, workâlife balance, and other organizational behavior ideas have three times the level of financial success as companies without these organizational behavior practices (McShane and Glinow, 2005).
