I feel that you build a strong rapport with writers that you can trust and they give you more information about characters in the story more intimately. Some writer's just get the point while other writer's give you a lot
On this one more information about the story,so by the end of the book you know what the whole point of the book was about. Other writer's basically do not put to much information about characters. I love reading stories that make me feel closer to the writer

I would have to agree with you on this topic. There are a few writers that give you intimate details about the characters. When a writer provides background information, it gives you a more intimate feel about the character. I too love reading books that are on a more intimate level. The writers that do not provide background information I have a tendency not to have a rapport with.

I think that it is easier to build a strong rapport with an author that writes about topics that you are interested in. My favorite subject to read about is criminal psycology. I have a strong rapport with authors of this subject because they provide quality information about the subjects that I am into and they also provide resources to support their information that I can review if I like.

Recall a writer with whom you have felt rapport and a writer with whom you have felt no rapport. What made the difference? Provide suggestions for building rapport between the writer and readers. Ask for more information as you respond to classmates if you are unfamiliar with the writers.
