An entrepreneur is a person who has sole ownership and responsibility of a venture and assumes responsibility for it as well. This person or persons is a leader who has combined land, labor, and capital to create and market goods or services. They are sometimes viewed as difficult and tricky, but are great risk-takers amongst anything else.

In this course, we have focused on the study of entrepreneurship. “Entrepreneurship is the identification and pursuit of opportunities without regard to resources currently controlled. Entrepreneurship is a process that requires both analytical and interpersonal skills. This process links creative, innovative, and change-tolerant behavior with a passionate commitment to an idea and relevant experiences to create economic outcomes.”

In this report, we will analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations for a local entrepreneur in the Baton Rouge area. They have proved to be successful in their establishment and socially responsible in the community. They continue to strive for a greater success for the company as well as a great level of satisfaction for their customers in any way possible.

Founded by Mr. Eugene Brown, Brown & Brown Clothiers specializes in custom-made suits, casual clothes, and accessories for business attire. Known as a former teacher, he was serious about starting this venture. He was a part time schoolteacher with a vision to better the African American communities. While servicing the youth, he still wanted to pursue his passion which was to develop his own clothing store. Mr. Eugene has been working in the retail industry for 30 years.
