There are many types of belief systems that are out there. It all depends on the religion and its culture. Many beliefs have to do with the worship of gods, reading sacred texts and attending religious events. In order for a religion to exist, a belief system has to also exist. Without a belief system, there would be no religion. Religious belief systems also play an important part in many cultures around the world. Some cultures may not have a strong religious belief system while other cultures do. Belief systems also play an important part in forging laws in many countries. In the following paragraphs, I will talk about my religious beliefs in my religion which is Hinduism.
How your beliefs make up a religious belief system.
My belief in the Hindu religion has a lot to do with what my parents taught me about it ever since I was a kid. My parents were pretty much the only form of resource I had from which I learned about the Hindu religion and formed my religious belief based on their teachings. My belief system includes the belief in our Hindu gods and goddesses. You see, the Hindu religion is a polytheistic religion which means a belief in more than one god. I also believe in not eating beef since the cow is considered to be a sacred animal in the Hindu religion. I also believe in Karma which happens to be a belief that my actions in this lifetime determine my destiny in the next incarnation.
How you acquired your religious belief system.
As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I acquired my religious belief system through my parents. I learned all about the Hindu religion through them. I was born here in the United States and grew up in a small town in California. At that time, we didn¡¦t have any Hindu temples in our city where we could go to for worship or to study about our religion. The only holy Hindu text we had in our house was the Ramayana which only my parents could read as it was written in Sanskrit. I remember...
