Barack Obama
When it comes to candidates in the 2008 presidential election, Senator Barack Obama is at the top of my list. Barack Hussein Obama was born August 4, 1961, and is the junior United States Senator from Illinois and a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 2008 presidential election. He is the fifth African American Senator in U.S. history, and the only African American currently serving in the U.S. Senate. Senator Obama was born to a white American mother and a black Kenyan father, Obama grew up in culturally diverse surroundings. Also, in a lot of the issues that are brought into question, he is always ready to answer for the future which would be the children. When it comes to health care, environment, public education, and family issue, he always reminds us that the children are our future and that...
