Band That I Would Have Lked To See Live

One band that I would like to have seen live would be the Doors. The Doors were and still are a great American rock band that formed in 1965 in Los Angeles by Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, John Densmore and Bobby Krieger. I am a huge fan of Jim Morrison and the Doors, whenever I listen to Jim Morrison's voice I am drawn into some forbidden world. His voice is amazing and I think that it is what makes me love this band. I love their music, its provocative and mind blowing. The deep tone of his voice astonishes me and makes his lyrics even better, they are deep and obscure and extremely poetic. His lyrics have a deeper meaning than what is actually understood, we catch a glimpse of what goes on in Jim's mind. He has a way for turning us on intellectually and helps us visualize what the world was really like. For example, he wrote many songs opposing the Vietnam War and many other problems that he saw in society.
I believe that Jim Morrison was one of the most gorgeous, good-looking men to grace this earth, without a doubt, which is one more reason why I would have liked to see them perform. When I watch videos of their performances, they blow my mind, the amount of energy and intensity that is put forth, it is an amazing sight. Jim's stage performance was great, you never know what he is going to do, and he is unpredictable. I love the Doors as a band and respect their collective musical talents; there are many amazing solos from the organ and the guitar, but if I were to go to a concert, I would have gone just to see Jim. If just listening to their records blows me away, I can't imagine what it would have felt like to see them live. It's such a shame that Jim Morrison died, or else maybe I would have had a chance to see him in concert today.
