Animation

Animation is everywhere. It's in our newspapers, movies, books, and especially television and cinema.
It’s defined in the Webster’s Dictionary as the rapid display of sequence of images of 2 D artwork or model position in order to create and illusion of movement it is an optical illusion of motion due to the phenomenon of persistence of vision this could be anything from a flip book to a motion picture film.  
Animation still bears the label of immaturity, the entertainment industry is giving it greater attention by distributing more animated movies and videos and the introduction of cable channels like the Cartoon Network. Perhaps the most attention has been paid to Japanese animation's (or "Japanimation") growing popularity in the U.S. We can see its influence as the number of Japanimation children's shows increases. Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, and Samurai Pizza Cats are all recent examples of Japanimation tailored for American audiences.   Characters like Betty Boop, Bugs Bunny were played before movies and often had humor of a political and adult social genre. As time went on, cartoons were more and more geared toward children,

                                                                 
but still did not shake its adult audience. For example, the birth of Pebbles on the animated 60's series The Flintstones was the most watched show of its time.
There is no single person who can be considered the “creator of the art of animation”.   There were several.   George Melies was a creator of special effect films.   J. Sturart Blacktom was the first American to use stop-motion and hand drawn animation.   He was introduced to film making by Thomas Edison.   Those are just a few who discovered the art of animation.
