Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. When he was a year old his family moved to Munich, Germany. (Swisher, 9) Einstein had an older brother and a younger sister that went by the name Maja. (10) Albert’s father had an electrical business, which was not successful. (Parker 6) Einstein was an imaginative and creative child. He was curious about why things happened. Even when Albert was nine years old, and in the highest grade of elementary school; he still lacked fluency of speech. At age six, Albert began school. He was the only Jewish boy in a catholic school. Albert did well the first two years, and then he got bored and said it was too easy for him.
