As per Merriam-Webster dictionary addiction can be defined as a compulsive need for and use of a habit-forming substance (as heroin, nicotine, or alcohol etc.) characterized by tolerance and by well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal. Sex is an addiction even though not a chemical it has the effects of a habit-forming tolerance. Sex as an addiction is a slightly new concept brought to the publications and media in the 1980's and has since grown with more theories and understandings. Patrick Carnes first labeled the term sexual addiction has identified ten categories of addictive sexual disorders, which consist of a range of fantasies, urges, and behaviors. These ten categories are: fantasy sex, seductive role sex, anonymous sex, paying for sex, trading sex, voyeuristic sex, exhibitionist sex, intrusive sex, pain exchange, and exploitive sex. (Seegers 2003) Even though Freud first noted sex as a addiction by mention of consistent masturbation he never truly evaluated the condition which lied behind the action. Sociocultural attitudes toward what constitutes as "normal" sexuality also had and still has an impact on the clarification of the addiction, which has reflected in social and psychological theory and its diagnosing over time. (Giugliano 2003)
Many sex addicts are diagnosed with more than one addiction usually chemical, over or under eating, gambling, spending, working, etc. While having these other factors they also have mental disorders such as depression. Factors which can contribute to feelings of depression include low self esteem, helplessness or loss of control, inferiority, minimized emotional involvement to use sex as a means to gain power, sense of inadequacy, engaging in dangerous sexual encounters with strangers. It jeopardizes families, marriages, occupations, it can cause harm to oneself and even family when combined with multiple sexual partners. God is very pro-nudity and very pro-sex. But man study the Bible backward and take things out of context to come up with wrong conclusions.
Backward thinking gets backward conclusions. Faulty (corrupt) thinking results in faulty (corrupt) conclusions.
God’s ways and thinking are not man’s ways or thinking.
Men study sex in the Bible backwards, from Revelation to Genesis using man’s faulty thinking and get backward and faulty thinking about sex. To understand God’s thinking about sexuality you have to focus on God. Focus on God’s thinking before faulty thinking humans cause faulty thinking about sexuality.
If humans ate of the tree of (eternal) life, instead of the (rebellion, sinful) tree of (man made) knowledge of (man made faulty thinking) good and evil, we would be living similar to the Bonobos for all of eternality on earth in peace and harmony in small groups in 100% public nudity, having open public sex with many sex partners, with no shame and no guilt, no marriages, with lots of love, peace and harmony. But instead we rebel against God and God design for us and ate of the (rebellious, sinful) tree of (man made) knowledge of (man made faulty corrupt thinking of) good and evil. Even today we still promote Adam and Eve faulty corrupted thinking and we still reject and rebel against God design for us.
When we study God’s creation and God before the fall of man into man made corrupt and faulty thinking, we see clearly, that God is extremely 100% pro-nudist and extremely pro-public and open sex with many partners with no shame and no guilt with very strong sex drive for all God’s creation. This is opposite man thinking. Men promote Adam and Eve thinking and reject God thinking.
Before man sinned and rebelled against God, they were 100% nudist and had open public sex in front of all to see with no man made shame and no man made guilt trip. Also as nature clearly show all God’s creation want, desire and has many sex partners over a life time, per God’s design, As God has program most all of creation to be.
God created 100% of all his creation to be 100% open public nudist with no man made shame and no man made guilt. This is very clear to see from all of God creation and Genesis 1 and 2 in the Bible. This includes all animals and all humans alike. God created all animals and humans alike with making one male and one female of each.
Also, putting them in the Garden of Eden, 100% nude, and 100% open public sex, in front of all, with no shame and no guilt. Later we clearly see just because he only made one male and one female that God designed most all to have many sex partners in open public sex, with no shame, no guilt per God design.
This was and is God’s design for all his creation. Even today we still see this in all the plants and all the animals, still 100% nude, having open public sex with many sex partners, with no shame, no guilt. The only acception to this are humans.
Why is it , that humans, are the only acception. The reason is, only humans, rejected and rebelled against God and God’s design and plan for them. Animal did not sin. Animals did not rebel against God’s plan or design for them, only humans. This is clearly seen in Genesis in the Bible.
If humans did not sin against God then all humans would even to this day be 100% open public nudist having open public sex with many sex partners with no man made shame and no man made guilt, similar to the animals, continue to do as God designed and created them to do from the beginning.
But because of humans rebellion to God and God’s plan and design for them, they got corrupt and faulty thinking. Believing Satan’s lies and trusting there faulty man made thinking. Second act of rebellion was to believe Satan lies and put “clothes” on and cover there body and hide behind trees and brushes, hiding from God. We humans still copy this today. Society and even the Church still promote Adam and Eve faulty corrupt thinking. They think the opposite of God, opposite God’s design of 100% nudity and 100% open public sex with many partners with no shame and no guilt as God designed them to be.
In Genesis 1 and 2 God make both male and female to be equal and be 100% public nudist and have many sex partner in the open public, in front of all to see (similar to the Bonobos, as God designed them to be. God said this design was very good. (Gen 1:31) Remember humans rebelled against God’s plan and design for them, not animals, not the Bonobos.
The closest animal DNA to humans, are the Bonobos. God created them and God program them. God program them to be 100% nudist and have open public sex with many sex partners in front of all with no shame and no guilt. God’s design, God’s programing. They use open public sex with many sex partners to create a very peaceful and loving society for all. Per God’s design. Bonobos did not sin against God and God’s design for them, but humans did. Bonobos don’t have man made faulty corrupted thinking, as humans do. Bonobos, to this day, still follow God’s sexual design for them, human still, to this day, reject and rebel against God plan and design for them of 100% open public nudity and open, public sex with many partners similar to the Bonobos.
God design for human was very similar to the Bonobos design having 100% public nudity and having open public sex with many sex partners with no man made shame and man made no guilt.
Bonobos do not marry each other, but living in small groups, all having sex with each other as desire with no shame, no guilt and no jealous, no strife, no discord , no wars with lots of love and harmony. God design and God plan for humans was similar to Bonobos. Humans reject God design and rebel with God plan and do the opposite, with opposite result.
In heaven there will be no marriage and Jesus clear said. This was and is God’s design. This also supports the ideal that God designed us to be like that on earth similar to the Bonobos who have no marriages either.
Because of human sin and human rebellion against God, God punished them.
Part of women’s punishment from God was man would be “master” over women. Gen 3:16) Before the “fall of men” into sin and rebellion against God, this was not so, both men and women were equal with equal right to be 100% nudist and have many sex partners in open public. But after women is the only limited one to be limited by her master the man. Man still can have many sex partner. We see this in the Bible. Men, including very God’s men had many sex partners but women was limited by her male master. This was not so before the fall. Women would have no male master over her and both male and female would both have freedom to have as many sex partner as they both desire more similar to the Bonobos.
Bonobos, both male and female can have many sex partner with no one being the master over anyone.
Humans create marriage and create men master over women, owning women as personal property.
Bonobos have no adultery. Adultery in the Bible was a man having sex with another man’s wife or property, without the man or “master of the women” permission. If the man “master” gave permission, then it would not be adultery. Ex 21:4 a master loans another man one of his “wives” to have sex with and live with her and when he leaves he returns the “wife” and wives children back to the master.
The “master of the wife” owns all the children his wife produces even if another man gets her pregnant. Nothing wrong with wife swapping, at all, if man (master) says it is ok. Before the fall of man both man and women would have had sex with many sex partner as desire with no master over anyone. Similar to the rest of God design. Similar to heaven.
In Heaven men and women can be 100% nudist having sex with many sex partners with no masters over them more similar to Bonobos, similar to before the fall of man. There will be lots of sex in heaven but no marriages. No one person owning another person. In the Bible we clearly see men having much sexual freedom and women are controlled by males as masters over them limiting there sexual freedom.
This is also backed up by King David (man after God’s own heart—over 25+ wives and concubines) and King Solomon (wisest man on earth with God special wisdom with over 1000 wives and concubines.) Both had unlimited sex partner available to them per God design. 2 Sam 12:8 SOS 6:8. Women is not man’s master. God designed both man and women to have unlimited sex partners, but because of Gen 3:16 women’s sexual freedom is limited only by her male master, not by God. The women’s male master determines the women sexual freedoms limits. This is part of God punishment on women in Gen 3:16.
16.To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." (man master over women limited women sexuality only by the master)
17.To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.
18.It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.

Remember that after the fall of man there is a lot of man made faulty thinking, man made shame and man made guilt trip. Most any man made sex rules are because of man and man being evil. Many sex rules are man ruling over women and don’t apply to man. A lot of sex teaching from of the Bible is taken out of context, and misunderstood and misused down right wrong teaching.
Always keep in mind that God is very pro-nudist and very pro-sex with many sex partners in open public with no shame an no guilt. This is God’s thinking and the context of sex in all the Bible. This is clearly God thinking shown us both in Genesis 1 and 2 and from God creation.
Song of Solomon is a good example of sexual pleasure and sexual desire being 100% good and is about A married man Solomon with 60 wives and 80 concubine out dating a single virgin having nude date with lot of oral sex and nude love making on her bed and he is married and she is not. In the end they still are not married and she still is a virgin because in that day they make more money for there father (their master) if the father sells her into marriage as a virgin. It is a money thing and nothing wrong with sex in itself. If the father got the same money selling her weather she was a virgin or not then she would have been having sex with Solomon for sure. Nothing immoral about it only about money issue.
Single women without a male master could have as much sex as they want with men and it was ok.
Where sex gets a bad name in the Bible is pagan worshipper would use sex to seduce men and women to worship their ferity sex goddess and give this pagan god worship for creating sex and sexual pleasure. This makes God very angry. Because God created sex and sexual pleasure not any pagan man made god. This was being done both in the OT and in the NT ( Numbers 25:1-9 compare to 1 Cor 10:8.)
1Cor 10:8. Neither let us commit fornication , as some of them committed , and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. (Numbers 25:1-9)
NU 25:1.And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. (sexually worship the pagan fertility sex god)
2.And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat , and bowed down to their gods.
3.And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor (pagan fertility sex god) and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.
4.And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.
5.And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor. (men joined unto pagan fertility sex god as part of sex worship to the pagan god.)
This is not part of men sexual freedom. They can’t use there sexual freedom to have sex with girl to take part with them in the worship of pagan fertility sex god.
But Godly men had lots of sex with many non-pagan worship women and that clearly did not make God angry at all.
In Corinth pagan would seduce Christian to worship there pagan god and if the Christian got the pagan girl pagan then the pagan girl would sacrifice the Christian man baby to the pagan god. This is what Paul was talking about when having sex with a pagan worshipping prostitute girl and then she would sacrifice the baby to the pagan god as part of the worship. From this we see the Christian men having sexual freedom to have sex with many sex partners with the acception of pagan worshipping prostitutes the sacfice their babies to the pagan god as they did back in number 25. Paul explains to them not to misuse there Sexual freedom and Christian freedom to be part of pagan fertility sex worship that is called fornication.
Today they misuse and misunderstand the word fornication. 95% ( the other 5% would just be a translation thing of translating from one language to another is not a perfect thing) of the time it was connection of sex orgy to the pagan worship of the pagan fertility sex god. Many totally ignore the worship of a pagan fertility god and make sexuality the villain. Sex is not the villain, but using sex to be part of the pagan worship is the villain.
God is pro-sex but not using sex to worship man made pagan gods. By taking it out of this context they total come up with the wrong conclusion that sexual freedom is evil. Like throwing the baby out with the bath water.
When Paul explain this to the people of the day they understood the context because they were living in it. But we are not living there so we need to understand the correct context to come up with the correct conclusion. Without the context we get the total wrong conclusion and create contradictions.
Always remember that God is extremely pro-nudist and extremely pro-public open sex. Then when you find a Bible verse that sounds like God is against sex or nudity then there is a misunderstanding or taking things out of context or it is just a man made hang up that needs a rule. God is not hung up with human or animal sexuality because he created them with strong sex drive to have lots of sex.
Even many Bible writers have there own personal sexual hang ups that is reflexed in the Bible. King David and King Solomon both have very high sex drive. You will see that refexed in there writing. Also other have very low sex drives and have major sexual hang up and effect their writings.
But remember very High sex drive King David is a man after God own heart.
Remember King Solomon was give the greatness windom from God more then any other man on earth and in this great wisdom had sex with 1000’s of women. These 2 out weight most all other in the Bible.
Remember Paul thought he was 100% right in God’s eyes and 100% convinced it was God’s will to go around killing Christians. He was 100% sure God wanted him to do that.
