A New Beginning
My new life began on June 4th 2009. This is the day I graduated from Lemoore high school. This is the beginning of a new chapter in my life because from this point on I would have to face the obstacles of the adult life and take on responsibilities that I never have before. I was very excited and scared at the same time, but as most of us know we all have to grow up at some point in our life and my time was here. But I would not have to face these obstacles just yet I still had a little bit of time to enjoy my life without much responsibilities.
So I packed my bags for my vacation that I had taken for several summers growing up as it had become a tradition for me. I packed my bags for June 16th which is when I would fly out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California. My flight would leave at 7 A.M. in the morning. I was so excited to visit my father’s side of the family which I had not seen in a couple months and now the time had come. I headed to the airport and I got the wrong flight information and had missed my flight by a couple minutes. I was very upset that this had happened and I would now have to sit in the airport for several hours and wait for the next available flight. It was now 10 A.M. and time to get on the plane.
I got to Raleigh, North Carolina later that night I saw my dad and was excited that I would get to spend time with him because I only see him a couple times a year. We had a very good conversation in the car and caught up on things. Then we got to his house and I went to sleep because I had a very long day of traveling. A couple days later on June 18th all the family would meet up and we took a road trip to Orlando, Florida to go to Disney World. This was a very long trip it took about 8 hours to drive from North Carolina to Florida.
