Hotel, in fact bear a resemblance as a small city. Cities within a city are complexes of all elements for work, living, and leisure in one or several buildings. Basically it’s consisting of shopping, entertainment sites and recreational facilities, offices, restaurants, numerous hotels, a golf course, a full suite of public services, including schools and residential space. Once it called a hotel like a city within a city, one can create a lifestyle of our own.
Then, let’s we study in hotel area mostly for large hotels. Most of the large hotels called as a true city within the city. As a part, it contains the features and qualities of the whole. The large hotel provides many functions (accommodation, educational, administrative, commercial, recreational, etc.) within a limited piece of land dimensioned on the needs of a pedestrian. It has everything a guest could want and promise they will come back again and again. Thus one might easily find such as butchers, bakers and barbers, doctors and nurses, electricians and carpenters, plasterers and painters, computer expert and accountants, machinists and masons, tennis pro, lifeguards and a lots of outdoor sports maids and dishwashers, chef and bartender, engineers and elevator operator.
As we know, in cities there are many communities in different culture and different demand. It same goes with hotel. In hotel there a lot of employees which have diversity of talents, multi skilled and profession that take lot of managing process. As part as a complexity of their operation, hotel provides those people to make sure the organizations are run smoothly without any mistake. Hotel provides the people who manage them with a never ending variety of challenges. In order to full fill their mission, a well management and controlling system should be established.
