Patiently waiting by 50 cent came out on his first CD, Get rich or die tryin'.   Patiently waiting talks about how long 50 cent has waited for his moment to be able to show off his talent.   He says,"It feels like my flows been hot for so long/ If you think I'm going to fall off your so wrong."   He feels like he should of been on top a long time ago, but now that he is on top he isn't going anywhere.   In every rap song a rapper sounds arrogant, but that's just how all rappers are.   In the second verse 50 cent says God has blessed him with the ability to be able to make songs.   After the few lines about God giving him a blessing; he begins to rap arrogantly saying that when he dies people will read his music and say a genius wrote it.   At the end of the first verse 50 cent talks about how he didn't have a father, and if he was shot today his record label wouldn't have anything to do with.  
The second verse of this song was done by Eminem.   Eminem talks about not being scared of anyone who approaches him.   Also talks about how Big and Pac were best rappers around.   Big and Pac were two legendary rap artists who were shot and killed.   In the last verse of this song 50 comes back on saying that no one should talk bad about him because he will be around and on top for a while.
