There have been some upgrades done to it but yes it is the very same program. Technology has grown so much in the last 20 years from barely having computers to having computers, cell phones and learning about its interesting past has been exciting what it is about.
Space travel, satellites, and men in space was so much of a popular thing in the  60’s, 70’s and 80’s and in 1989 as you can imagine and it is still quite popular.
