2.2 Explain The Guidelines, Procedures And Codes Of Practice Relevant To Personal Work
Outline guidelines, procedures and codes of practice relevant to personal work When doing my work, there are procedures that need to be followed such as, answering the telephone, making phone calls, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail. All of these procedures, guidelines and codes of practice are in my job description which is easy for me to access.
Explain the purpose of planning work, and being accountable to others for own work
Planning my work is essential in making sure I complete all of the tasks I am expected to do on a daily basis. Writing down what you are going to do – such as a to do list is very helpful when it comes to checking what you have done and what you need to do as well as showing someone else what you have completed.

Explain the purpose and benefits of agreeing and setting high standards for own work
It is important to set high standards for my own work so I know I will complete it to the best of my ability and get it in on time with the least amount of mistakes possible.
Describe ways of setting high standards for work
In order to set high standards for my work I would need to speak to my manager and agree what the standards are and what I need to do to achieve them.
Explain the purpose and benefits of taking on new challenges if they arise Taking on a new challenge will show my employer that I am willing and dedicated to complete the tasks given to me. Refusal to take on a new challenge could make people think of me as a negative person and that I am not flexible to change in the business environment.
