Eighteen, Pregnant and Scared

I graduated high school in June of 2004 and I was seventeen, which too many people’s surprise I did actually graduate. Considering I had been in a lot of trouble during my high school days. Between parting, drugs, boys, fights and not listening to my parents. I would stay out late, not come home, skip school, and basically was called a “wild child.” That did all change and I wised up and showed everyone I could do it. When I turned 18 that July I got a job at The Reading Hospital in September, which I was a static about. I saved up some money and by November, actually the week before Thanksgiving I found a cute, little cabin house in Mertztown. I insisted I must move out. My parents did not want me to do so, but said I was an adult and had saved the money so I could do what I preferred. This was what I wanted, I had a great job, and was able to live on my own and be independent like I always wanted and dreamed about. I was going to start RACC in the fall which would have been August of 2005. Then I got papers back stating I could not qualify for financial aid due to I was not on my own for more than a year, but I could not afford the classes so had to drop them. I was very upset and wrote letters to RACC explaining I was out on my own and taking care of myself. I was going back and forth between RACC and the financial aid when I also discovered I was pregnant.
It was August 25th 2006 when I had found out I was pregnant; Pregnant! How could this be? I was on birth control for many years. This was not right, so I then proceeded to take approximately six pregnancy tests that all said POSITVE! What was I going to do I thought. My parents were going to kill me; I knew I was not able to afford a baby. I then decided I had to call my boyfriend, who actually was from Maryland at the time but would come visit me every weekend.
