Power is something that can be easily abused and it is a very useful tool if it is use correctly. Every person would like to have power because with power there are many things that we can do. While in my opinion, it is something that motivates me a lot because money is my power. With the money I have, I am able to order and instruct other people to do anything or I can buy whatever things that I like. Power can be easily abused is because when they have the power, they do not appreciate it and simply use it.

In the passage, Wormtongue which is one of the characters in Lord of The Ring is using his power to do things that benefits him. He even banished the king’s nephew because his nephew dares to suggest that Wormtongue is not to be trusted. We can see that Wormtongue is not using his power wisely because he used his power in a wrong manner. People who are loyal and did not benefits him then he will banish them. In this sense, everyone had to follow what he wishes.

Back to a few thousand years ago, China was ruled by an emperor. In that time, everyone must obey and follow the orders that have been instructed by him. He can just punish you or kill you whenever he likes. Why everyone must follow and do not dare to disobey him? It is because he has the power that everyone cannot resist and everyone must follow. I believe if the power of the emperor is abused, it surely will cause a lot of side effects and will destroy the country by himself. The civilians were afraid and this caused a major impact to the country because everyone tried to move away from the country and this caused the economic instability. As an emperor, he should not abuse the power he had. He should have used it in a proper way and help to improve the economy of the country. When the economic is stable in the country, the rate of having a war is much more lesser and the civilians will definitely willing to help to improve the economy...
